Wheel Separator is a Plastic plate, approximately .040″ thick placed between the hub or drum and the wheel, and/or between two wheels in dual applications. It is strongly recommended to use Wheel-Guard separator plate in severe applications where corrosion or wear has been identified as a problem. These wheel guard separator plates should not be used between the brake drum and hub. For extreme temperature conditions and/or frequent stop-start braking applications, contact Legend Tire Canada for recommendations. Both aluminum and steel wheels can benefit from the use of a separator plate.
